Sun 7th Feb,
Went out kitesurfing with Andy, Wind looked good but needed to be quick as it was due to drop off, The beach is class when the wind direction is E, after 10 minutes my fingers frooze with no gloves, Disaster!!!! Hate having numb hands so i packed it in, Andy stayed out about a half hour but the wind dropped off. Still to cold to do any kitesurfing lessons at the moment, Some nice southerly winds would be welcome!!!

Whale Watching!

Feb 1 2010
Went whale watching this morning, walking between Carnivan and Baginbun beach by the martello tower , There were 2 or 3 whales just squirting water out their blow hole about 1 mile offshore, Around 2 o'clock a humbback was seen juming clear of the water, A wildlife photographer took some snaps on a boat beside the whale which i have seen but they are copyrighted, Bummer!!!
But here is one or two i stole earlier
